I have officially recovered from the "Super Bowl Hangover" (not a real hangover, but being a Packer Backer it was fun to watch the Giants win)!

Now its that time of year when I really start to get anxious about the forthcoming shed hunting season. Every year I try to stay out of the woods until at least the middle of February so as to not push any bucks off the land... but just like every other year its a struggle to stay away. Especially this year, I have been hearing reports of people finding sheds all over the place and now I must admit the first chance I get I will be shedding! Well, maybe not for a week or two now, when I woke up this morning there was 3" of fresh snow on the ground. This is probably a good thing as it will force me to stay away for awhile, but as soon as this snow starts to melt I'll be putting on the miles and trying my best to wear out my hiking boots!
