Why CuddeBack?

I checked my cameras again today. The results were unreal! I originally set the cameras over hay bales during the rough weather on the 11th of Feb. The high temps during the week were single digits and the lows were as low as -13. I changed the memory card on the 19th and found 873 pics on one camera alone! I turned it back on and left until the 21st. I had 198 pics this time, and the batteries were still working. I changed the batteries to cheap HY-VEE brand, and changed the memory card again. Today I pulled the memory card, I checked the batteries and they were still at 75% and HOLY COW... I had 1296 photos today! The battery life is amazing on these cameras!
I am using Cuddeback digital No Flash cameras. The infrared takes a great picture, but it is tough to judge size on deer in this mode.
This buck was taken by a friend in the Cedar Rapids Urban hunt. The pic was taken under my stand and he was harvested about 200 yards away. This deer is tough to judge at this angle and in infrared mode, this deer grosses 196" with a 4X4 frame! As mentioned and now shown, it is hard to judge deer with this camera but it does let you know they are around!
I still have 11 deer with both antlers and a couple with only one side. The fights these bucks have been going through are more violent than during the rut.
I got over 50 pictures of buck fights, sometimes with 3 deer fighting at one time! One particular fight sequence lasted 27 minutes... thats over 20 pics from one fight! My buck to doe ratio in this area is getting really close to 1 to 1, as I have taken about 15 does and only 1 buck from here. The rut fights are quick and simple, these "dominance over the hay stack" fights are long drawn out ordeals!
These cameras take beautiful pictues, the batteries last "forever" and they are simple enough that even I can use them. I believe in, and use these cameras, and I think you will be more than satisfied too!
