Passed another Monster!

For years I dreamed about shooting a P&Y minimum deer every year. That elusive 125" mark was such a big deal... I soon figured out what I was not doing and that became very easy. I soon wanted to kill 130", then 140" and a few years ago I decided 150" was the magic number. To me that is the size that a deer becomes a monster, 150" or better is a world class deer in my opinion and to harvest several there or much better for the last 4 years has been unreal. This year I have set my goals so high that I feel strange... I have passed a 10 pnt that will score about 160", a 10 pnt over 140" an 8 pnt that will go over 135" and another 10 pnt in SE Iowa that will go about 150... tonight I did it agian! I have shown pics of a big 6X6 with a 2nd G3 that we figured will go in the low 140's. Tonight with almost an hour of light left, I passed him at 8 yards! He stopped and I got my bow down, release connected and bow drawn... he was mine if I wanted. He stopped at 12 yards, 20 yards and slowly headed E into my food plot where I have so many night time pics of him. That deer will score 148" on the very low side and might be as good as 152" Gross...
I might be crazy, but this 3 1/2 year old buck will be a monster in a year or two, if I killed him now there will never be a chance to see that!
