End of the year... final day of the season

The morning will dawn on the last day of the late muzzleloader season. I still have 2 landowner tags and my state wide anysex tag. Jody and I have decided to hunt our farms in SE Iowa. We will be doing pushes to each other on one farm, then sit over food plots on the other farm if we still haven't taken our bucks. Does will be harvested if we don't see the bucks we want. Sunday will find us in the lower 2 tiers of counties with our rifles! I need to remove a couple more does and the farm will be set for the year. We set total harvest goals for the Southern most farm of 10 does. We took 2 does during archery, and the shotgun group took 6 so we are close. The Northern farm is small enough that management beyond removal of inferior bucks is tough. The neighbors shoot everything, so doe harvest is already about maxed out, that is why we aren't doe hunting there. I will let you know in 24 hours how we did!
